Apple recently announced that it has canceled the 10-year secret Apple Car project. Now, reports have revealed how much money Apple spent on this project.

The agenda has been quite busy lately regarding the driverless vehicle project that Apple has been working on for years.

Apple, which has been carrying out the electric and autonomous vehicle project called Project Titan very secretly, recently canceled the project it had been working on for 10 years.

It is stated that there are hundreds of hardware engineers and automobile designers in Apple's electric car team.

How much did Apple spend on its electric vehicle project?

A new report published by The New York Times shows that Apple has spent $10 billion so far on its canceled electric vehicle project.

According to the report, the project's leaders and focus changed many times during this time. Changes in leadership also brought about differences of opinion.

The vehicle, which was first planned to be a Tesla rival, was later intended to be similar to Google's fully driverless Waymo models, and in recent years it has been transformed into a Tesla-like project again.

The vehicle was intended to be entirely Siri-focused and controlled by Siri.

According to the report, the main reason why the project failed was that Apple could not develop the necessary software and algorithms for an autonomous driving car.
