Renault CEO announced that Cars in Europe are Expensive

Renault CEO Luca de Meo said that cars in Europe are big and expensive. According to the CEO, brands now need to produce compact and inexpensive cars.

Recently, Chinese automakers have started to flock to Europe. The fact that Chinese brands are launching much cheaper electric vehicles puts other manufacturers in a difficult situation.

Renault CEO Luca de Meo said that cars in Europe are big and expensive.

Luca de Meo puts some of the responsibility for this disproportionate increase in automobile prices on Europe, due to regulations that allegedly 'increased product diversity' in the last 20 years.

Saying that small cars that people can buy should be produced, Renault CEO emphasized that they plan to put on sale at least three new compact models.

Making a statement about the factories, the CEO said: "The winners were the premium manufacturers. Buy brands invested all the money of the EU in the factories in Eastern Europe.

The Germans went there to produce at low cost and sell at high prices. "They emptied Italy, Spain, Portugal and France."

According to De Meo, the real criminals are those who produce first-class automobiles and, with European money, move their factories to eastern countries to the detriment of Italy, Spain, Portugal and France.
