SWM, the brand of the Chinese automobile giant in Italy, is coming to Turkey after Europe.
ATMO Group, which has acquired many Chinese automobile brands, continues to add new brands to its portfolio. Accordingly, Chinese-origin Italian automotive manufacturer SWM will be on Turkey's roads very soon.
Founded in Italy in 1971, SWM produces more than 300 thousand cars annually. SWM, which was acquired by Chinese Shineray Holding in 2014, operates its design office in Milan, while its R&D center is located in China.
Combining Italian design with German technology, SWM said, "We believe that the SWM brand, which is of course backed by a very important and large automotive manufacturer such as the Chinese Shineray Group, will quickly gain the appreciation of the Turkish consumer. We believe that we will bring dynamism to the Turkish automotive market with our accessible and assertive SUV models. We will establish dealer structuring very quickly." "Our negotiations to complete the project are continuing at full speed. In a short time, our strong structure will be ready with sales and after-sales services spread throughout Turkey," he said.
