Waymo's robot taxis carry 50 thousand passengers a week

Waymo, under the umbrella of Google, announced that it has reached 50 thousand passengers per week.

In recent years, the number of companies developing driverless vehicle technologies has increased significantly. One of these companies, Google's company Waymo, which plans to offer a completely driverless robot taxi service in the future, has been conducting driverless robot taxi tests for years.

Waymo had started to include passengers in driverless vehicle tests in San Francisco, USA.

In the tests conducted with Jaguar's electric SUV model I-Pace, there is an operator behind the wheel for emergencies.

For those who want to travel with a driverless vehicle, a ride-hailing service is offered via Waymo's mobile application.
